Who we are
Norfolk Fibre Watch is run by Marios Charalambides. Contact: [email protected].
When you check your home
Your postcode is used in your browser. If you add a house number or name, it is sent to our lookup service (on Cloudflare) to find your home's status. We don't store what you type. To stop abuse we count requests per connection using a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, kept for up to 10 minutes.
Email alerts
If you sign up, we store your email address, postcode, house number or name (if given), which boxes you ticked, the exact wording you agreed to and the date and time. We store this on Cloudflare's database service.
- Alerts (required to sign up): we email you when full fibre plans for your home change. Our lawful basis is your consent.
- Offers (optional, unticked by default): we email you broadband offers, which may include adverts and affiliate links. We only do this if you ticked the box (consent, as required by UK GDPR and PECR).
You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing [email protected]; every email will include an unsubscribe link. We keep your details until you unsubscribe, or for up to 3 years after our last email to you. We never sell your details.
Cookies
We don't set any cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites. Links to providers or affiliate networks take you to their sites, which may set their own cookies under their own policies; we'll update this notice before any affiliate links go live.
Data we publish
Broadband information comes from BDUK's published premises data and Ofcom Connected Nations data. We don't publish names or street addresses.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent at any time or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
